The Church of Jesus Christ is not merely a building or an institution; she is a living organism—the Body of Christ on earth.
She is God's chosen instrument for proclaiming the Gospel and making disciples among the nations. What the early Church demonstrated—radical unity, fearless proclamation, sacrificial generosity, and power-filled witness—must be pursued afresh in our generation.
Today, we pray for the Church in her entirety: local, global, institutional, and underground.
1. A Fresh Outpouring of the Holy Spirit
Ask God for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon the Church globally—not merely a trickle of blessing, but a mighty move of His presence that transforms communities and regions.
Scripture: Acts 2:17
2. Purity and Biblical Truth
Pray for the purity of the Church. Ask that false teaching and entertainment-driven ministry that distracts from the Gospel would be exposed and rejected. May the love of truth rise in the hearts of believers.
Scripture: 2 Timothy 4:3–4
3. Sacrificial Love and Compassion
Pray that the Church would rediscover the power of sacrificial love by caring for the poor, widows, orphans, and marginalised as practical expressions of the Kingdom of God.

4. Unity Within the Body of Christ
Ask the Lord to mend broken relationships between denominations and Church bodies. Pray that division would give way to holy unity centred on the essentials of the Christian faith.

5. The Persecuted Church
Pray for the persecuted Church in China, North Korea, Iran, Nigeria, and across the Muslim world. Ask God to strengthen believers under pressure, protect them from harm, and ensure that their witness remains faithful.
Scripture: Revelation 2:10
The Church is not being raised as an audience, but as a people equipped for Kingdom advancement.
This is a call beyond performance and appearance—into prayer, conviction, holiness, and spiritual engagement.
The time to advance is now. As darkness is confronted, may the people of God arise in faith, carrying the Gospel with courage and allowing the Kingdom of God to advance through their lives with power.
The Church will stand. The Gospel will advance. Christ will be glorified. Amen.
